When taking on the management of a block of flats, we first carry out an inspection to ascertain what in our professional opinion needs to be carried out on the property in order to bring it up to a satisfactory level.

We will prepare a service charge budget at the beginning of the year, detailing the estimated cost for maintaining the building. If any major works are required, we will obtain quotes and serve the necessary Notices on the leaseholders and oversee the project in order to ensure it is carried out to a high standard.

There are many managing agents, however Melvin Jacobs endeavour to stand out from the rest, in the personal service that we supply. Each block that we manage has a single point of contact with one of our block managers. Although they would be your day to day contact, any of our staff will be happy to assist with any enquiries that arise with each property.

The property manager will understand the buildings requirements and will build up a relationship with the residents thus ensuring that everyone is happy with the way their property is being managed.
